October Calendar

The image „Farmscape – Create your dream.“ was created by Inkscape artist Stephanie Luz (License: CC-By-SA 4.0) for the About Screen Contest for Inkscape 1.3.

The artwork shows an idyllic autumn landscape, with a farm building in the center, a little lake beside it, a path leading towards it, a paddock in the background, all framed by deciduous trees wearing their October outfit, and a few fir trees. A Bézier tool icon at the top indicates that this is a vector drawing created with Inkscape.

Like last month, there’s not going to be a tutorial for the October drawing, as the preceding weeks have been soooo busy for me. You can check out what I’ve been up to by reading the summary article about the 22nd Kieler Open Source und Linux Tage (German, use your browser’s translation tools if you need it in a different language). Also check out the photo gallery at the bottom, and watch any of the video recordings that interest you!

If you’re more into learning new things about Inkscape, watch out for the upcoming October drawing challenge in the Inkscape forums, and try out the latest version of Inkscape (1.4) when it’s out (will be in a couple days).

Now, here’s your October Inkscape calendar page:
